Before you sign that contract, be sure to read the fine print

- and realize that it's written with anything but your best interests in mind.
And don't ever believe anything that a salesperson tells you if it contradicts what the contract says. Verbal contracts, although technically legally binding in most jurisdictions,
turn out to be "not worth the paper they're not written on" more often than not.
By the time a dispute arises, the salesperson may be way out of the picture,
and even if not, it becomes a matter of your word against his/hers.
